Welcome to the Irish Times’ New Website
Well, First off… Welcome to The Irish Times Blog. We’ll use the blog to keep you updated with what has happened and what is coming up at the Irish Times and REHAB nightclub. We plan to fill the blog with as many funny stories and observations about our place and the Worcester Nightlife scene. If you have a story to tell and want us to write about it, or you want to apply to be an official Irish Times/REHAB blogger, get in touch with us.
Also, there’s a lot of new stuff on the website. There’s plenty of things to do at Irish Times. We’ve tried to make that evident with our “Learn More About” section. You can learn more about watching sports, eating lunch and dinner, dancing at REHAB, cover bands, billiards and our game room.
We’ll also be launching new contests all the time to reward the “Good People” that help us make Irish Times the place to have “Good Times”, as our slogan says. We’ve also added polls to get your opinion about how we should improve the club, like adding different beer to the taps or picking songs to end the evening with. We encourage any type of feedback and ideas, though. So, don’t hesitate to contact us or leave comments on our blog posts.
We’ve expanded our photo section with some snazzy new software. And we’ve launched a comprehensive event listing powered by WhizSpark. We’re looking for bloggers that want to put the Irish Times event listings on their sites too. So, contact WhizSpark if you want to get paid to advertise our upcoming events on your own blog.
We also realize that you aren’t going to only hang out at our website. So, we encourage you to become our friend on myspace, friendster, WhizSpark and especially, mybloglog. Mybloglog is a new site, which Yahoo! just bought for a lot of million dollars. It keeps track of who visits our blog and it shows their picture on the side of our blog. (Scroll down to see it.) This way, people that visit our website will know who else is visiting our website. This way, you can introduce yourself to new people and talk to your friends through our site and mybloglog, just like you do at the pub and the club.
Of course, you can still sign up for our almost-weekly newsletter for special offers and news. You can browse our menu and learn how to book a function at Irish Times. We are even giving away free birthday, bachelor and bachelorette parties too. Just contact us.
Thanks for visiting Irish Times. And thanks for visiting our website.
