Hold up. Not so fast. Read the fine print first.

We’re giving away a pass to one (maybe two) lucky people every time the Red Sox play a World Series Game.

To be eligible, all you have to do is show up before the [2007] World Series game(s) start on October 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 31st and November 1st, as long as there is a game playing. Here’s the official World Series schedule.

That’s right. Every game. All 7 4 of them. We’re giving away a ‘no cover for the rest of 2007 pass’ to one lucky person.

But that’s not all. No. That’s not all.

If When the Sox win the game, we’ll give away a ‘no cover for the rest of 2007 pass’ to 2 lucky winners.

When you arrive early before the game starts, you’ll receive a ticket. At the end of the game, we’ll pick one [or two] lucky winners.

Oh Yeah. We almost forgot. Budweiser will be on hand on Thursday with special Sox give aways. Don’t miss it.

Ok. Maybe we’re being a little presumptous with the title of this post. But, I think previous years are a good predictor. We’ve thrown a few great NYE parties.

But, who knows. Maybe you’re not into dancing, great music, lots of beer selection, the biggest 21-35 crowd, an excellent dj, and inexpensive food on the biggest party night of the year.

If you’re not into those things, then maybe this won’t be Worcester’s best NYE party, atleast by your standards.

Last year, though, we broke records for the number of people that dined at the Times on NYE as well as the number of people who came down to watch the balldrop. Our only busier night was St Patrick’s Day.

Last year, as midnight approached, we had to let people in slowly. The only way to ensure you can get in this year is to buy your dinner ticket ($25) in advance or show up at the door early. You can register for dinner online, by phone or at the Times anytime before the 31st. We recommend that you don’t wait, though.

If you don’t want to eat and want to make sure you get in early, just show up early. Admission is $15 at the door.

Oh yeah. Probably Cause is back for NYE with special guest Chad Clement.

When you buy 5 lunches, you get one free on your next visit.

During the rest of October 2007, we are serving 2 appetizers for the price of 1 every weekday between 4 and 7PM and during all Red Sox Playoff games. Buy one app and get one free. Come down after work or to come watch the sox with Worcester’s best sport’s crowd.

We’re doing a special for people who are subscribed to our email list.

Between October 15th and October 26th, 2007 anyone who receives our special email, prints it out and comes with a friend to Irish Times for lunch or dinner will receive one free entree when they buy another. 2 for 1.
